Describe the Climax of the Story: The climax of the story is when they are stuck under the tree and they think their men are coming to save them but really it’s just a bunch of wolves coming.
How does the Protagonist change over the course of the story? Ulrich and Georg start the story strongly disliking each other but by the end befriending one an other, which no one friends out about.
Describe the relationship between the title and the theme. The theme of this story is Georg poaching on the forest boundary of Ulrich’s land. The title Interlopers relates to the theme because interloper means trespassing, which Georg was doing on Ulrich’s land.
How does the main conflict help to illustrate the theme? The main conflict, Ulrich vs. Georg represents the theme because Ulrich is out ‘’hunting’’ for Georg on his land.
How does the climax help to illustrate the theme? They start the story ready to kill each other if given the opportunity, they both get stuck under a tree, become friends then die because of wolves

Irony: The irony in this story is when they become friends, saying they’ll ride into town together, go hunting together and have dinner. But no one would ever find out because of the ending of the story, which doesn’t directly tell you but when the die due to the wolves. “Neighbour, if you will help me to bury this quarral I --- I will ask you to be my friend." & "How the whole region would stare and gabble if we rode into the square-market together. No one living can remember when a Znaeym and Von Gradwitz talking to one another in friendship."
Imagery: He strayed away by himself from the watchers whom he had placed in ambush on the crest of the hill, and wandered far down the steep slopes amid the wild tangle of the undergrowth, peering through the tree-trucks and listening through the whistling and skirling of the wind and the restless beating of the branches for the sight or sound of the marauders.
